SNOW DAY POLICY -

Closings - Montessori Academy follows Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation's decisions on snow days. If EVSC calls off school, we will not have school that day. If you have AM/PM care in your child's program, you may bring your child for a day care day.

Building Closure - If a state-of-emergency is declared in Vanderburgh and/or Warrick County Montessori Academy will be closed.

Early Closings - As a rule we do not close early. Parents, of course, should determine their own level of comfort driving and may pick up early if the need arises. The exception for closing early would be if very extreme/dangerous weather or road conditions developed. If this should occur we will contact each family by phone.

Delays - We are not bus dependent and do not have delays. School will start at the regular time regardless of what time EVSC delays the start of school.

Snow Make-up Days - We do not have snow make-up days. When EVSC uses a scheduled snow make-up day, it will still be a school holiday for Montessori Academy and we will not be in session. Check the school calendar for any possible exceptions.

Re-enrollment forms for current students in Mr. R's class are due back. - Additional forms can be found at the front desk or respond to this email and we can attach what you need. Please fill out the appropriate information whether your child is returning or not.

Preprimary Re-Enrollment forms are due back on or before Wednesday, January 8, 2014. If your child is returning, please include the $100 registration fee. Please fill out the appropriate information whether your child is returning or not. Email back if you need a form or pick one up at the front desk.

LAST CALL for Elementary/Kindergarten students after school Spanish program - The next session will be open to kindergarten and elementary students. The session is from January 20 (different start date than previously announced) through March 10. The cost is $140. Please return the form and check to the front desk. Email back if you need an extra form or pick one up at the front desk.

Mr. R's class will start swim lessons at the Eastside YMCA next Thursday. Wear swim suits under their clothes, bring underclothes, towel, comb/brush in a separate waterproof bag. Lesson will be each Thursday through March 13 ^th .
